NJAALE is dedicated to strengthening public education in New Jersey by expanding equitable pathways to educational leadership, developing the capacity of Asian American educators to serve effectively in senior leadership roles, and promoting representation, inclusion, belonging, and community engagement within New Jersey's public schools.

Build the network
Establish a professional community that connects Asian American educators across New Jersey, creating opportunities for mentorship, collaboration, and mutual support among current and aspiring school leaders.
Develop leaders
Provide professional learning, coaching, and preparation that develop the capacity of Asian American educators to serve effectively in senior leadership roles in New Jersey public schools.
Open the pathways
Expand equitable pathways into educational leadership by working with districts, preparation programs, and search processes to identify, sponsor, and advance qualified Asian American candidates.
Make the case
Advocate for representation, inclusion, and belonging in educational leadership by contributing research, data, and informed perspective to statewide conversations about the public school workforce.
Change the practice
Partner with school districts, universities, and state organizations to strengthen practices in hiring, retention, and community engagement that serve all students and families in New Jersey.
NJAALE is a New Jersey nonprofit corporation. Our application for federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status is pending.
